City seeks input from community on CDBG spending

The City of Fairfield receives funds annually from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to administer the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. This program funds various nonprofit agencies and other City departments to implement services that benefit low- and moderate-income persons, resolve slum and blight concerns, or address community development needs.

In preparation for the City of Fairfield’s CDBG Annual Action Plan for FY 2020-2021, the City is collecting input from community members to identify priority CDBG spending needs for Program Year 2020. The official program timeline for Program Year 2020 is July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. Local input is very valuable and affects funding decisions for the 2020 Program Year. Please take a few minutes and share your feedback with the City.
