The Fairfield Main Street Association plans to host Restaurant Week March 7-14. The week will feature special menus and discounts at various restaurants throughout downtown Fairfield. Visitors may also take advantage of free corkage for Fairfield wines at participating restaurants. Art installations from Armijo High School International Baccalaureate (IB) art students will be located inside restaurants throughout the week.
Typically, Restaurant Weeks take place during the slower months of January-March throughout California. “Surprisingly, many locals may not have visited the nearly 20 eateries in downtown Fairfield. In an effort to attract new visitors, we decided it was time to highlight the wide array of dining options in downtown” said Executive Director, Margaret Manzo.
The week will kick off with the ticketed ‘A Taste of Downtown’ event on Saturday, March 7 from 2 to 6 p.m. Attendees will visit multiple locations to enjoy beer, wine, and food tastings, along with live music and poetry readings. Tickets are $20 per person in advance and $25 at the door and are available online. For a list of participating restaurants, visit the Fairfield Main Street website or call 707.422.0103. FLYER
